Hello, lovelies - yes I am still alive!
Apr. 22nd, 2014 09:16 pmMy birthday just passed, and I really appreciate hearing from several of you with birthday wishes. Thank you! And yes I had a lovely day.
I haven't been around this year very much, and after 3 very active years in the fandom, mostly commenting on all the great fics around me, it's a big change. I miss writing, even though it wasn't much quantity or quality, it was something unique and creative in my life, and I loved it. I miss you all, too! My reasons for absence are twofold.
One, I'm busier than usual in real life with lots of work commitments, but also with a couple of challenging and fun activities in my spare time. That's a bit vague, and I'd like to share more than that, but TBH I have to stay anonymous on LJ, unfortunately.
Two, I admit to dabbling a bit, in what time I do have, in the Sherlock/John fandom. Harry and Draco will always be my OTP, but they are rather absorbing, and I need to read stuff that I can walk away from a bit more easily, and that doesn't make me stay up late, and want to read every single fic in the fests. I expect to be back to H/D at some point.
I miss you all and sometimes do poke my head in! Hope to talk to you all very soon.
